OH, HI THERE!

My name is Louie, I am an illustrator, author and educator based in Halle (Saale), Germany.

I got a B.A. in media and cultural education in 2018 and an M.A. in media management and information design in spring 2022. I've started working as a freelancer in 2018 and would be more than happy to work with you!

My work sits somewhere in the niche between illustration, education and feminism. I address social justice issues in my work and combine these heavy or scary topics with a playful and lighthearted style.

I am interested in making things that leave people saying "Oh, now I get it!"

My skills include baking pancakes, cuddling cats and growing indoor plants. But probably more relevant at this point:

- I know my way around Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

- Basic knowledge of AfterEffects and Animation.

- Fluent in German and English, also speak a tiny bit of French (Salut mes amis!).

- Several years of experience in running workshops for young adults

- A decade of activism-experience.

- My volunteer work brings a unique, bold and political point of view into my work.
